Artwork designed and digitally remastered by Sarasvati Designs. The “Blackthorn” pattern was designed by William Morris in 1892. The Art Nouveau pattern features hawthorn, daisies, tulips and foliage. The placement of the plants are symmetrical and form a damask style pattern. Using the plant and flower pattern in symmetry is a hallmark of William Morris's design.
