The Artwork
The Dragon Day At The Seaside features three charming friends setting off together beside the sea. A russet red panda rides a bright red scooter, a black-and-white panda follows on blue, and a delighted white rabbit travels alongside them on orange, creating a wonderfully animated little procession.
Above them, a cheerful blue dragon with a golden belly, tiny golden horns, white feathery details, and an enormous smile curls through the cloud-filled sky. Its sweeping serpentine form brings a sense of movement and fantasy to the sunny seaside scene.
Elegant black lampposts hung with traditional red lanterns line the promenade, while a turquoise sea stretches toward distant green hills beneath enormous billowing clouds. Along the bottom of the composition, pink, blue, white, red, purple, and golden flowers create a bright garden border.
The artwork continues across both sides of the greeting card, extending the seaside landscape, blue sky, clouds, lanterns, beach, and colorful flowers beyond the principal front illustration and creating a beautifully coordinated presentation from front to back.
Reimagined in a bright contemporary illustrative style, The Dragon Day At The Seaside combines whimsical animals, dragon fantasy, seaside scenery, colorful florals, and playful storytelling.
