🌸🪞 Bring whimsical Art Deco elegance, fanciful garden beauty, and wonderfully eccentric detail into your home with The Lady Of The Floral Parasol Square Pillow. Featuring original Sarasvati Designs artwork, this decorative pillow showcases an elegant woman beneath an extraordinary flower-covered parasol, holding a hand mirror while surrounded by oversized blossoms and curious decorative treasures.
Designed as a statement-making room accent, this square pillow transforms the imaginative garden scene into decorative art for sofas, chairs, beds, reading nooks, and other indoor spaces. Sage green, turquoise, pink, blue, yellow, black, and warm red create a playful yet sophisticated palette, while the double-sided print allows the artwork to become part of the room from every angle.
The Artwork
The Lady Of The Floral Parasol features an elegantly dressed woman in a magnificent pale green gown embellished with delicate golden scrollwork. Beneath the sweeping outer skirt appears a dramatic black panel scattered with tiny flowers, while geometric detailing, decorative borders, and jewel-like accents give the ensemble an extravagantly imaginative character.
Above her rises an extraordinary parasol decorated with pink, blue, white, and red flowers against a warm golden ground. Fine dark spokes radiate across its surface, while blue feathers and elaborate ornaments frame her face. With one hand she holds the parasol and with the other raises a slender hand mirror, as though inspecting herself during an especially unusual garden promenade.
Before her stands a small red table supporting a round glass bowl filled with water and bright red fish. A tiny blue vessel and golden lidded container accompany the bowl, while another curious decorative object can be glimpsed beneath the tabletop among the floral patterns of her skirt.
Enormous pink, blue, yellow, turquoise, and white blossoms surround the scene, filling the garden with exuberant color and fanciful scale. Reimagined in contemporary illustrative style, the artwork combines Art Deco fashion illustration, floral fantasy, decorative pattern, playful elegance, and whimsical storytelling.
